“The Palestinian cause is not a cause for Palestinians only, but a cause for every revolutionary, wherever he is, as a cause of the exploited and oppressed masses in our era.”

Historical video of the day: Clip from Abu Ali Mustafa’s short film “Scenes of the Occupation from Gaza” (1970), which captured the brutality of the IDF and the valor of the Palestinian resistance during the 70s. As far back as then, efforts were made by Israel to expel Palestinians abroad and into Egypt.

Note the Antifaschistische Aktion (Anti-fascist Action) banner porminently featured on the building. Sadly, the KPD spent more energy fighting against the Social Democratic Party (SPD) than they did against the nazis (and same thing with the SPD against the KPD) and just a year later it was too late.

"I respect kindness in human beings first of all, and kindness to animals. I don't respect the law; I have a total irreverence for anything connected with society except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer." Non-violence is a very non-functional approach in a society that's based entirely on organized force and violence.
A country that was created in violence, land was taken in violence, a society that's perpetuating itself through violence in the ghettos, in Vietnam, in Africa.
Wherever you look, there is organized force and violence at work to maintain this society.
There is a world of difference between 20 million unarmed people, and 20 milion people organized and armed to the gills.
That's Power.
